This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the conditions under which Bloodweb Pty Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accepts, processes, and enforces return, exchange, and refund requests. This Policy operates in strict compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as set forth in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), alongside any other applicable statutory obligations. By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Scope and Applicability

This Policy applies to all purchases made through our eCommerce platform hosted via WordPress and powered by WooCommerce. It applies to all physical products sold by the Company, including but not limited to custom, handmade, and standard goods. This Policy does not apply to services, digital downloads, or non-physical products unless explicitly stated otherwise.


2. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Compliance

Under the ACL, consumers are entitled to remedies for products that have major or minor faults. However, the ACL does not require businesses to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction unrelated to product defects.

We strictly adhere to ACL obligations, and our return policy does not override or limit consumer rights under Australian law.


3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

Due to the nature of our business, the following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable unless a defect is present:

  • Custom or Handmade Products: Slight variations in color, texture, or finish are inherent to handcrafted goods and do not constitute a defect or misrepresentation.
  • Items Subject to Hygiene or Safety Regulations: This includes but is not limited to wearables, intimate goods, and perishable items.
  • Personalized or Made-to-Order Items: Any product made specifically for the customer’s specifications is final sale.
  • Gift Cards & Digital Products: Non-tangible items are ineligible for return or refund.

4. Conditions for Returns & Refunds

4.1. Eligible Returns

We may accept returns only under the following circumstances:

  • The product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from its description.
  • The product is found to have a major failure as defined under the ACL.
  • A warranty claim is made and validated in accordance with applicable terms.

4.2. Reporting a Faulty Product

To initiate a return due to a fault, customers must provide all of the following:

  • Clear photographic or video evidence of the issue.
  • Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation, invoice, receipt).
  • Description of the issue and details of how the product has been used.

Customers must notify us within seven (7) days of receipt of the product for damage claims. Failure to report within this timeframe may result in the denial of the claim.


5. Remedies & Refund Process

5.1. Replacement, Repair, or Refund

In the event of a verified defect, the Company will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product at no cost to the customer.
  • Replace the product with an identical or functionally equivalent item.
  • Issue a refund only where repair or replacement is not feasible.

5.2. Refund Method & Processing Time

Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Refunds are generally processed within 7-14 business days but may be subject to additional processing times depending on financial institutions.


6. Return Shipping & Costs

  • For defective or incorrect products, Bloodweb Pty Ltd will cover reasonable return shipping costs upon verification.
  • For all other cases, including buyer’s remorse or unapproved returns, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included.

Returns that are damaged due to improper use, mishandling, or failure to follow provided care instructions will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.


7. Discretionary Returns

For returns outside of ACL requirements, acceptance is at the sole discretion of the Company. If a return is approved as a goodwill gesture, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply, and the refund amount will exclude original shipping fees.
